I’m Ilir. I run I.N Plumbing and Central Heating, and I’m the only person who works on your job from start to finish. No call centres, no subcontractors, no apprentices learning on your kitchen. Just one craftsman, doing the work properly, the way I’ve been doing it across London since 2004.
How I got here
I started in the trade in 2004, learning the craft from older plumbers who took pride in soldered joints and boilers that ran quietly for two decades. I qualified with my Gas Safe registration soon after, and I’ve never looked back.
Over the years I’ve installed hundreds of boilers, fitted dozens of bathrooms, traced hidden leaks under floorboards in Hampstead townhouses and unblocked drains in Hackney terraces. Every London property has its own quirks — Victorian terraces with hidden pipework, mansion blocks with shared services, modern apartments with communal heating. Twenty-two years in, very few problems are new to me.
What hasn’t changed is how I work. I still turn up myself. I still do the survey myself. I still write the quote myself, in plain English, without inventing problems to upsell solutions. And I still answer the phone myself when a customer from five years ago wants advice about a noise their boiler is making.
That’s why most of my work comes from word of mouth and repeat customers. I never paid for advertising, and I’ve built the business slowly on the principle that if you do the job right, the next call always comes.

Heat-loss calculations, not guesswork. Boiler sizing for your house, not for the supplier’s margin. If a repair makes more sense than replacement, I’ll tell you.

A boiler that runs quietly for fifteen years beats one rushed in an afternoon. Tools laid out, dust sheets down, work checked twice.
